RFAD (Women's Network for Aid and Development) is a Congolese non-profit association, non-political and non-denominational, dedicated to humanitarian action and development. It was founded in Beni, North Kivu, on 20 June 2024.

Communities are at the centre of everything we do: humanitarian aid, protection of vulnerable people, community development, education, food security, health, peacebuilding and socio-economic empowerment.

    Brings members together, adopts policy directions, approves accounts and elects the governing bodies.

    Direction and oversight

    Chaired by the President, it sets strategic directions and oversees the Executive Directorate.

    Reviews operations and compliance, and reports to the Board and the General Assembly.

    Day-to-day management

    Leads programme delivery and the management of staff and resources.
